Obama took office with a recession and a housing market crisis in 2009; by October 2009, unemployment had risen to 10% as he cleaned up the Bush mess. By the time Obama left office, the unemployment rate had steadily declined to 4.7% in January 2017.

Trump took office in January 2017 with a flourishing expanding health and growing economy from Obama, and unemployment was at 4.7%. It achieved a low of 3.5%, which is excellent. Then comes the 2020 pandemic and Trump's mishandling of it; unemployment reached a peak of 14.8% in April, with 2.9 million jobs lost.

When Biden took office in January 2021, unemployment was 6.4%, affecting millions of individuals. trump mishandling of the pandemic, which left over 400,000 people dead. Thank goodness for President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Democrats passing The American Rescue Plan with no republican support to get America back on its feet, as well as the Infrastructure Act to help create millions of jobs, with unemployment reaching its lowest point in history at 3.4% and black unemployment at 4.7% in 2023. As of now, unemployment is 3.8%.

In conclusion, as we can see, Democrats always clean up the mess left by Republicans in terms of our economy and lives!
